Our web tool can help you find out what is recyclable in Sevier County and where to take it! You can also view your trash collection calendar if you live in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg.

We Recycle, Do You?

Not only does SSWI compost all of the organics in the waste stream, but we also recycle cardboard - over 4,000 tons each year!  Since other materials are not recycled at our facility, SSWI supports recycling efforts of plastics and metals throughout the county.

Want to recycle from your home?  There are recycling drop off centers to serve your needs.

In the City of Sevierville, the recycling drop-off center is at 310 Robert Henderson Road. The single stream recycling facility accepts plastic jugs, plastic bottles, and clean aluminum cans.

In the City of Gatlinburg, the recycling drop off center is on 321, just beyond Rocky Top Sports World.  This drop off recycling facility accepts: plastics 1-7 (does not accept plastic film), aluminum, tin, mixed paper, cardboard and used motor oil.  Please note:  all recyclables should be removed from the bags.

Donations of ANY kind are not accepted.
